The Foundation is delighted to be supporting the JMK Trust again by way of a grant towards their Emerging Director Development Weeks, offering the opportunity for new Directors to work with and learn from key professionals in the theatre industry, taking part in workshops with actors and getting valuable feedback on their work. Jo Holding, General Manager at the JMK Trust said: "We are delighted that the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation have been able to support our development weeks through which we offer talented young and emerging directors the opportunity to meet and work with key people from the industry and have time with actors to develop their practice. It enables us to offer additional support to our JMK Award finalists and regional bursary recipients which can substantially benefit their development and career progress. Director Justin Audibert curates and facilitates the weeks and past contributors have included Rupert Goold, Sam Potter, Vicky Featherstone and Matthew Warchus. Through the contacts made during this time participants have gone on to be offered paid directing opportunities."
