Summer Academy Scholarships at Leeds Conservatoire
Leeds Conservatoire has received continued scholarship funding from the ALW Foundation towards its Summer Academy for Performing Arts.
The funding will enable individuals from communities who are currently underrepresented at the conservatoire to attend the Summer Academy for Performing Arts free of charge, and to receive ongoing mentorship.
Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and financial need, with an emphasis on supporting young people from currently underrepresented backgrounds.
Sarah Miller, Director at the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation said "It has never been more important to nurture diverse young talent. We are thrilled to work with Leeds Conservatoire on this programme which widens access to the performing arts and enables talented young people from underserved backgrounds develop the crucial skills they need to succeed and flourish in a vibrant theatre industry".
