Old Vic Theatre Makers 2023

We were thrilled to join a team of funders supporting Old Vic Theatre Makers project during 2022/23.  Now in its third year, OV Theatre Makers is a free, six month training programme for young people aged 18–25 from across the UK. Participants build a toolkit of theatre-making techniques to help them in the creation of their own work through industry led masterclasses and by collaborating with each other. The programme increases access to the arts through masterclasses with industry professionals, bespoke support and free tickets via a theatre ticket bursary. This year, the programme included a Scratch Night for the first time, with 17 new scenes, monologues and short films devised, written, directed and performed by the cohort.  You can find out more about the programme at https://www.oldvictheatre.com/old-vic-theatre-makers/
