English Schools Orchestra

Composing, Improvising and Performance Project The Foundation has awarded the English Schools Orchestra a one off grant towards this project with aims to bridge the gap between school, college and the life of a professional musician. Led by the ESO and music students at Goldsmiths, University of London, 30 A Level, GCSE and vocational course music students from the Lewisham borough are given professional music guidance and experience. Bob Pepper MBE, Project Director at the ESO said: "The English Schools' Orchestra members, trustees and teachers are delighted and so grateful that the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation grant has enabled us to reach even more disadvantaged young people and help them to develop their composing and performing skills in music".
