Batley & Spen Youth Theatre Company Ltd was set up to pay tribute to the late Jo Cox MP and aims to leave a lasting legacy for young people in the town. The company’s first project ‘Hear the People Sing’ includes a production of Les Misérables with a local cast & company. The project will target young people who have not engaged with the performing arts and who do not feel theatre is for them due to social or economic reasons.
